After the great success of the school’s A-Level results last week, Rugby High School students are this week celebrating the fact that 28% of all grades awarded this year to RHS students was a grade 9, with well over half of all grades (56%!) being grades 9-8. A superb achievement for our students, families and the staff at RHS.

Rugby High School students are celebrating exceptional A Level results this year, with over 10% of all grades awarded an A* and well over a third of grades being an A* or A grade!

Open Evening moving to Wednesday 1st July
Open Evening at Rugby High School for year 4 and 5 students will be on Wednesday 1st July 2026, 4.45pm - 7pm.
Rugby High Students have achieved the Silver medal in the National Crimebeat Awards 2026. The student Team Leaders of Rugby High School’s entry, Project Prevent, attended the Awards Ceremony at The Royal National Hotel in London on Tuesday 17th March 2026, where they presented their project to the audience and discovered they had been awarded the silver medal.
Annique Reynolds attended Rugby High School from 1998 to 2005 and then studied Drama at the University of Manchester, before going on to complete a Master’s degree in Stage Management at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
Annique is now a freelance Production Manager in television who has worked on some of the UK’s most iconic live broadcast events, predominantly for BBC Studios.

Congratulations to our Curriculum Lead for Physics and GCSE Combined Science, Susan Mighall, who has been awarded Physics Teacher of the Year Award 2025, by the Institute of Physics.
