Sixth Form Open Evening was held on Thursday 7th November 2024, 5.30pm - 8.30pm.
We hope everyone who attended discovered what RH6 can offer you and learnt all about life in Sixth Form at Rugby High!
Apply for RH6
To apply for Rugby High School Sixth Form 2025 entry, application forms should be completed and sent by 5pm, Friday 20th December 2024.
Completed forms should be sent by email to: sixthformadmissions@rugbyhighschool.co.uk with the subject: APPLICATION 25 and your SURNAME.

Next Steps
All students who apply to join RH6, will then attend an individual guidance meeting in early 2025, to discuss their option choices. The discussion is intended to ensure that all students make informed choices.

Orientation Day
Students who have applied to RH6 and all our current Year 11s are invited to come to our RH6 Orientation Day on Tuesday 1st July 2025. We will be sharing more of what RH6 life is like.
The day enables students to enjoy some A Level taster lessons, meet some of their teachers and gain insight into Sixth Form life.
Please arrive from 8:40 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. start. Please come to reception where you will be welcomed by our Prefects and staff. Our orientation day runs until 2:45 p.m.
Please confirm your attendance by emailing sixthformadmissions@rugbyhighschool.co.uk ASAP and by Monday 23rd June.
Our Orientation Day will give you the opportunity to meet other students, and find out some more about what to expect when you join our Sixth Form for your A Level journey.
Details for the day:
- Please arrive from 8:40 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. start. The Orientation Day finishes at 2:45 p.m.
- You should wear casual, comfortable clothes appropriate for school
- Remember to bring a healthy snack, packed lunch and a bottle of water
- Bring paper / notebook and pen

Curriculum blocks for A Levels for 2025
For students choosing their A Levels to start in September 2025, the option blocks will be uploaded here shortly.
We expect that the majority of students will choose to take three A levels. If you plan to do this, you should choose one subject from three of the four blocks. If you wish to take Further Mathematics you need to choose Further Mathematics, Mathematics and two more subjects.
