Our whole school vision underpins every aspect of life at Rugby High School, and when we say that we strive for excellence for all, in all its forms, this applies to every student regardless of their financial background. This is the ultimate objective of our Pupil Premium Strategy and these are the key principles of it.
We expect every student to be able to access the full academic and co-curricular activities, accessible both in school, and when required remotely. We're committed to supporting our students to do so.
We allocate Pupil Premium funding to support students in need of individual financial support so they can take part in school visits and trips, access the internet, take part in clubs, travel to and from school and to feel part of our school community by wearing our full school uniform. If your daughter receives free school meals, or you are in receipt of certain benefits, you can gain help, for example, towards buying her first uniform.
There are up to 20 places available at Rugby High School for girls who live in the priority areas who qualify for the Pupil Premium, via free school meals, and score up to 15 points below the qualifying score.
For example if the qualifying score is 211 a girl who has received free school meals only needs to score 196 or more to be offered a place.
