Bursary
If you are struggling to make ends meet from one week to the next you may be eligible to receive some financial support from Rugby High School. Each year the school is allocated certain monies from the Education and Skills Funding Agency which it must use to offer financial support to students whose personal circumstances meet certain criteria or whose family income is low.
- If you meet the schools criteria for the Bursary and are subsequently awarded it – you can then spend it on text books and resources, travel to school, trips and visits as part of your courses, equipment to enhance your studies etc. Anything purchased with the Bursary becomes your property. The Bursary is a grant – you are not required to pay the money back to the school.
