An element of normal returned to Rugby High on Sports Day last Friday.  It was a slightly different Sports Day from normal in that it didn’t take place over the course of the afternoon, but instead over 1 lesson per Year Group. That didn’t dampen the loud, happy and supportive atmosphere one jot.  Students took part in shotput, javelin, discus and high jump events as well as the track races and were then treated to icecreams provided by the PTA.  "The day would just not have been possible if wasn’t for the support of all the staff who came to the event, some of whom even represented the isolating Form 8G in events.  The sound of music and laughter were a true highlight of what has been a rollercoaster of a year.”  Ms Wallace, Head of PE
